Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 June 2026

adād is a browser extension that helps adults with dyscalculia read numbers on webpages. These terms cover what adād is, how the subscription works, and what you can expect from us.

What you get

adād is a Chrome browser extension. When installed and turned on, it shows small notes underneath numbers on webpages to translate them into a personal scale you have set. It includes a calculator, time and date helpers, read-aloud, and per-site controls.

Each subscription is intended for one person and one active browser installation at a time. Activating adād on another browser may deactivate the previous installation. You agree not to share an activation link or subscription access with other people.

Free trial

New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial when they complete checkout. Paddle may require payment details to start the trial, but no subscription charge is taken until the trial ends.

At the end of the trial period, the subscription renews at $9 per month unless you cancel before the trial ends. adād requires an active subscription to continue using its features.

Subscription and payment

The standard subscription is $9 per month, billed monthly, unless otherwise stated on the website at the time of purchase.

Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. adād itself does not see or store your card details, billing address, or any other payment information.

The subscription continues until you cancel it. Cancellation can be done at any time, directly through the payment provider's customer portal or by writing to adad.support@gmail.com. After cancellation, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Price changes

If the subscription price changes for new customers, your existing rate stays the same as long as your subscription remains active and uninterrupted. If a future price change applies to you, you will be told by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and you will have the option to cancel before the new rate begins.

Acceptable use

You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute adād for the purpose of bypassing the subscription. You agree not to share your account in a way that lets multiple unrelated people use a single paid seat.

You agree not to use adād to translate numbers in any context where the translation could be a substitute for professional verification, including medical doses, financial transactions, legal documents, or anything else where exact figures matter. adād provides reading support; the user is always responsible for verifying important numbers before acting on them.

What adād is not

adād is an accommodation tool, not a medical product. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure dyscalculia or any other condition. It is not a substitute for medical, financial, legal, or educational professional advice.

Service availability

adād is provided on a best-effort basis. We try to keep the extension working with the latest version of Chrome and on most websites, but we cannot guarantee that every page on the internet will be fully supported, or that the translations will always be correct in every context.

If a serious bug affects your ability to use adād during a paid period, write to us at adad.support@gmail.com. We will work with you in good faith to fix the issue or, where appropriate, offer a refund.

Privacy

adād does not collect or transmit data about your browsing. The full privacy policy is at /privacy.html.

Termination

You may stop using adād at any time by uninstalling the extension from your browser. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that breach these terms, in which case any remaining paid period may or may not be refunded depending on the reason for termination.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by applicable law, adād is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of adād, including but not limited to financial losses arising from acting on a translation that turned out to be incorrect. Our total liability in any case is limited to the amount you have paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in any meaningful way, the change will be reflected on this page, with the updated date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated by email to active subscribers.
