adād works entirely on your computer. It does not send your data anywhere. It does not collect, store, or transmit anything about you, your browsing, or the pages you visit, to any server or third party.
adād is a browser extension that reads the numbers visible on the webpage you are looking at, and shows translations underneath them. All of this happens locally in your browser.
To do this, adād uses standard browser features that allow extensions to read and modify the text on the current page. It only reads the page that is currently active in your browser tab.
adād stores a small amount of information on your own computer, in the browser's local storage. This is only on your machine and is never transmitted anywhere.
The information stored is limited to:
— Your personal anchors (the example amounts you set, such as your rent, the price of your coffee, your monthly pay, and so on), which adād uses to translate numbers into your personal scale.
— Your per-site preferences, such as which sites you have switched adād off on.
— Your account state for the subscription, which is required to recognise that you are an active user.
You can clear all of this at any time by removing the extension from your browser.
adād does not track your browsing history.
adād does not log the pages you visit.
adād does not record the numbers it reads.
adād does not use cookies for tracking.
adād does not send any analytics, telemetry, or usage data.
adād does not share, sell, or transfer any information to third parties, because it does not collect any.
Payments for adād are handled by a third-party payment processor. adād itself never sees or stores your card details, billing address, or any other payment information. Refer to the payment processor's own privacy policy for how they handle that data.
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, the change will be reflected here, with the updated date at the top of the page.
